In this episode of Food for Thought, we chat with Jacob Stanford, a creative entrepreneur who owns CYP Foods. CYP, by the way, stands for “change your perception,” and he certainly has a wonderful perspective on the creation of unique home made organic gourmet nut butter products.

Jacob discusses the process of making his food, as well as the new opportunities created by California’s newly enacted Cottage Food Industry laws, which allow small independent food creators to work from their home kitchens.

Jacob is all about giving back and paying it forward, as he donates part of his proceeds to some charities that are close to his heart- feeding the hungry through Feeding San Diego, and helping those with eating disorders through NEDA.
